About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Barbera comes from the estate’s oldest vineyards, situated within the Ronchi and Cottà geographic mentions on the hills of Barbaresco and Neive. The sites range in exposure from east to south-west and have predominantly limestone-rich marly soils. The vineyards were planted between 1950 and 1974.
Grapes
100% Barbera.
Ageing
Maturation lasts about 12 months in oak casks, followed by a few months of refinement in bottle.
Tasting profile
A Barbera d’Alba Superiore distinguished by intense complexity and decisive longevity.
