About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
Vigna Loreto lies on the western side of the Ovello geographical mention, in the historic heart of Barbaresco. The wine comes from a small parcel in the municipality of Barbaresco with a south-west exposure. Its marly soil is dominated by limestone and clay, interspersed with fine sandy infiltrations. The vines were planted in 1970 and 2011.
Grapes
100% Nebbiolo.
Ageing
The wine matures for approximately 20 months in oak casks, followed by a few months of refinement in bottle.

Harmony defines the wine’s character, supported by intensity, structure and warmth.
Label / history
Vigna Loreto was vinified separately for the first time in the 1980s, presenting a distinct expression of Barbaresco.
