About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The wine comes from a small vineyard within the Cottà geographic mention in the municipality of Neive. The family acquired the site in the 1970s and vinified it separately for the first time in 2015. Its south-west-facing vines were planted between 1962 and 1996.
The soil is marly and predominantly limestone, with small amounts of clay and sand. Its Tortonian character is associated with complex, long-lived wines.
Grapes
100% Nebbiolo.
Ageing
Maturation lasts about 20 months in oak casks, followed by a few months of refinement in bottle.
Tasting profile
A complex wine conceived for long ageing.
Label / history
