The wine ages for six months. It is bottled without filtration, fining or added sulfur dioxide.
Tasting profile
A natural red with an appealing character from the first sip.
Label / history
"Brutal" is a concept name shared by various producers who choose not to use sulfites at bottling. They use it to set their unusual style apart as a category of its own. The name means "brutal" or "rough". The label shows a skeleton reaper with a scythe, signalling a rejection of established wine conventions and a move away from standard practices. The label is experimental and open to any producer making wine in a "wild" style.
