About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from several vineyards in Bussia, Monforte d’Alba. The Freisa is grown on old vines.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-October. Vinification begins with 6–8 days of skin contact, followed by fermentation at 26–28 °C.

Ageing

The young wine rests for several months in stainless-steel vats, then ages for 12 months in oak barriques.

Tasting profile

Lively and bright, with an engaging aroma and a well-structured palate.

Label / history

The wine replaced the estate’s earlier, more traditional Langhe “Quartetto” and marked a departure from Langhe tradition.
