About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The family-owned “Lehen” vineyard is on steep, south-facing slopes in the Monticolo area near Terlano. The vines grow at 370–510 metres on volcanic soils, with pronounced differences between daytime and nighttime temperatures. They range from 10 to 89 years old.

Vinification

For the 2014 vintage, the grapes were harvested from 5 to 9 September and gently pressed. The must underwent alcoholic fermentation in stainless-steel tanks.

Ageing

The young wine remained on its lees for four months. It was bottled in August 2015 and released in November 2015.
