About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie in the hills around Ravenna at approximately 130 metres above sea level, on clay-limestone soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in the first half of September, then destemmed and gently pressed. After a short maceration, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation follows in concrete tanks for approximately two months.
Ageing
The wine ages on its fine lees in concrete tanks for three months.
Label / history
Production in 2018 was 9,000 bottles.
