About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
Grechetto is grown mainly in northern Umbria and is generally used in blends.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine rests in steel vats for three months, followed by at least three months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Fresh, full-flavoured and elegant, with fragrant floral and fruity aromas.
Vintage notes
In 2023, a rainy spring provided the vines with needed moisture. July and August were warm and dry, followed by a dry September with cool nights that supported balanced ripening. Favourable weather in early October allowed later-ripening varieties to reach optimal maturity. The resulting wines had intense aromas and excellent balance.
