About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from a vineyard near an ancient mill. The wine takes its name from the molacce, the mill’s large stone wheels once used to crush olives for oil. The name recalls the identity, traditions and memory of its place of origin. The vines are Guyot-trained, with a yield of 80–90 quintals per hectare (8–9 t/ha), and the grapes are harvested at the end of September.
