About this wine
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes are pressed and vinified traditionally in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine matures for six months in oak barrels, followed by six months in stainless-steel tanks.
Label / history
The Duca di Saragnano brand takes its name from Duca di Saragnano, a warrior who fought the Saracens for the freedom of Southern Italy. Luigi Barbanera, an ancestor of the Barbanera family, was a close friend of the duke.
