About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Bianchello grows on south-facing slopes within the Bianchello del Metauro DOC zone, at 200–300 m above sea level. The first vines were planted in 1985.
Vinification
The harvest date is set by measuring sugar levels, total acidity and pH. After gentle pressing, the must is clarified by flotation. Fermentation lasts 20 days at a controlled 14–15 °C in 100 hl steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine matures for 4 months in stainless steel tanks. It is bottled no earlier than February and rests in bottle for at least another 30 days.
