Vineyard and terroir
The Verdicchio is grown in the commune of Matelica at an altitude of 400 m.
Vinification
Vinification includes cryomaceration.
Ageing
The wine matures for at least one year in stainless-steel tanks, with a portion aged in toasted oak barrels. It then rests in bottle for a further 13 months in the winery’s cellars.
Serving and pairing
Recommended pairings include refined fish dishes, white meats, semi-aged cheeses, and rich, flavoursome hot dishes.
Label / history
Produced since 1988, Cambrugiano was Belisario’s first Verdicchio made in the Riserva style.
