About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from vineyards across 19 municipalities in Franciacorta.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested from mid-August to early September. Pinot Noir macerates on its skins for several hours before fermentation in steel vats; this skin contact contributes colour and a distinctive aroma. In the following spring, the cuvée undergoes secondary fermentation in bottle.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for at least 24 months, followed by a further two months after disgorgement.
Tasting profile
Elegant and lively, with bright berry and fruit notes on both the nose and palate.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif.
