Bertani was founded in 1888. Almost 30 years later, the Academy of Agriculture, Arts and Commerce in Verona examined the brothers’ work from scientific and practical perspectives and presented them with a special gold award. The estate now covers 130 hectares around the family’s historic eighteenth-century villa, while its cellars and winery are in Grezzano.
