About this wine
Origin: the 4.2 ha Binomio vineyard in San Valentino in Abruzzo Citeriore, at 300–350 m above sea level, with full southern exposure and medium-textured clay soil. Grapes: 100% Montepulciano, Africa-Binomio clone. The vines are trained to the traditional Abruzzo pergola, average more than 50 years of age and are harvested manually in small crates. Characteristics: dark ruby colour; intense aromas of wild strawberry concentrate, blackberry, other wild red fruits and spices; powerful and full-bodied on the palate, with mature tannins, freshness and long aromatic persistence.
