About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The fruit grows around the village of Cartizze in the province of Treviso, Veneto. The area has a particularly mild microclimate and very ancient terrain, with hard rock beneath loose surface stone. The soil has a balanced chemical composition and retains consistent moisture, enabling unusually slow ripening. Bisol has 50 ha of vineyards, most of them in the Cartizze area among the steep hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene.

Label / history

Bisol is a family-owned winery whose history dates to 1542. Its headquarters and principal vineyards are in Cartizze.
