About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vines grow on very steep hills of morainic origin, in clay and marine sandstone soils. Their roots penetrate deeply into the soft rock locally known as “Molera”, which occasionally reaches the surface.
Grapes
The blend contains at least 85% Glera, supplemented by other white varieties.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand on the steep slopes.
Ageing
The wine is intended to be enjoyed young and is at its most expressive 12–24 months after bottling. With time, its initially light, fruity aromas become more mature and vinous.
Tasting profile
Delicate, with floral aromas and pleasant minerality.
Label / history
The name “Molera” refers to the soft rock found in the vineyard soils. In 2017, the wine received a silver medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition.
