Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo grows in the company’s vineyards in Barolo, on limestone and sandy soils in northwestern Italy.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified traditionally at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine matures in oak barrels for at least 18 months.

Pairs with roasted or baked red meat, grilled meat, game and cheese.
Vintage notes
In Piedmont, the winter of 2018 was long, cold and snowy, followed by severe spring frosts. Heavy rainfall in May and June brought relief after the severe droughts of previous years. Some areas experienced hail, while disease presented another major challenge. Despite these difficulties, conditions were generally favourable: warm days and cool nights created good conditions during the harvest.
