About this wine
Vinification
The grapes are harvested mechanically in early autumn. Traditional vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, where the wine is also stabilized.
Ageing
The wine is aged in stainless-steel tanks.
Label / history
Abele Bolla founded the winery in Veneto in 1883. Its wines won a gold medal at a competition in Bologna in 1909. The winery released its first Amarone vintage in 1950. In the late 1960s, Brown-Forman acquired a 40% stake.
