About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The organically grown fruit comes from the producer's vineyards in the province of Asti, at around 300 metres above sea level.

Vinification

The grapes are usually harvested in early September, once they have reached optimal ripeness. Traditional red-wine vinification includes 20 days of maceration.

Ageing

The wine matures for 24 months in French tonneaux and Slavonian oak barrels, developing additional complexity and depth.

Serving and pairing

Pair with rack of lamb, steak, sausages, roast pork or flavourful cheeses.
