About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are in the Asti area, at 200–300 metres above sea level. Clay-limestone soils combine moisture retention with sufficient drainage, supporting even ripening and bright acidity. Piedmont’s moderate climate brings warm, sunny days and cool nights, encouraging intense aromas while preserving freshness and an elegant balance of sweetness and acidity.
Vinification
The grapes are gently pressed, and the must ferments without skin contact in stainless-steel tanks at around 15 °C. The low temperature preserves delicate floral, citrus and fruit aromas. Fermentation is stopped by cooling, retaining natural sweetness, freshness and a light natural sparkle.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for around two months, adding roundness and a soft, creamy texture.
Tasting profile
Fragrant, delicate and cheerful, with fine bubbles and a bright fruity and floral character. Floral, citrus and fruit aromas lead to a fresh, softly creamy palate with an elegant balance of sweetness and acidity.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif or with dessert.
Label / history
The name reflects the Bosio family’s long-standing passion for truffle hunting. For many years, winemaker Valter Bosio searched for Piedmont’s white truffles with his dog Leda, who appears on the label.
