About this wine
Grapes
The blend comprises 75% Corvina, 20% Rondinella and 5% Molinara. Corvina Veronese ripens late and is prone to spoilage in rainy weather; it is also valued for its high yields.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested from late September to early October, sorted and pressed, then fermented in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine remains in stainless-steel tanks for six months, followed by approximately two months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Cherry flavours are accompanied by gentle bitterness and subtle dry spice.
