About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes grow on the steep porphyry slopes of Ritten above Bolzano, at around 650 m above sea level. Wide temperature swings help preserve the wine's aromatic intensity and freshness.

Vinification

A brief cold maceration gently draws aromas from the grape skins. Fermentation is temperature-controlled, in steel tanks, which keeps the fruit profile pure and the variety clearly expressed, with no oak influence. A small amount of residual sugar gives the palate more body and highlights the spicy notes.

Tasting profile

Aromatic and bright, with a full-flavoured character. The nose shows lychee, tropical fruit, rose petals and a light touch of honey. Exotic fruit, floral notes and a gentle spicy sweetness combine. The texture is rounded, and the wine is expressive and food-friendly.
