About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are located on steep hillsides above Bolzano at 650 metres above sea level. The vines grow in poor porphyry soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in late September and gently pressed. Temperature-controlled fermentation is followed by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine ages in barriques and tonneaux, which give it depth and a refined structure, followed by further maturation in bottle.

Powerful yet elegant and well balanced, with integrated acidity, depth and a refined structure.
