About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from vineyards in the Colli Tortonesi. The wine joins this growing area to vinification in Braida’s historic setting at Rocchetta Tanaro.
Grapes
100% Timorasso.
Vinification
Whole clusters are gently pressed to obtain the free-run juice. Following clarification, alcoholic fermentation proceeds for 16 days at controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine ages for 12 months in a tulip-shaped concrete vat, remaining in contact with its fine lees. Monthly bâtonnage continues until bottling.
Tasting profile
Intense straw yellow with golden highlights. The broad, complex bouquet combines flint, citrus and floral notes. Structured and vibrant on the palate, it has freshness and savoury character supporting a long finish. It has excellent ageing potential.
Serving and pairing
Serve at approximately 10–12°C. Available in 0.75 L bottles.
Label / history
Timorasso marks a new chapter as Braida’s first still white wine. Born from the meeting of the Colli Tortonesi and Rocchetta Tanaro, it is conceived as a long-lived, tenacious and expressive white.
