History
Addition to Poderi Colla
Bricco Bompè joined Poderi Colla in late 2016, becoming the family winery's fourth estate. It is situated at Madonna di Como in Alba.
A new production centre
The estate combines a 1.5-hectare Barbera vineyard with a large, modern underground cellar. Conceived as Poderi Colla's central production facility, the cellar brings together the vinification, ageing and bottling of the winery's entire output.
Terroir
Bricco Bompè occupies the summit of the Madonna di Como hill in the municipality of Alba, directly opposite Bricco del Drago. Its panoramic Barbera vineyard lies at elevations of 400–430 metres above sea level, immediately above the underground cellar.
Winemaking
Bricco Bompè contains a large, modern underground cellar designed as the central production facility for Poderi Colla. The building accommodates the vinification, ageing and bottling of the winery's full production.
