About this wine

Composition

The base is 80% Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, combined with sugar, agricultural alcohol, and an infusion of aromatic herbs and spices. The botanicals include artemisia, wormwood, chamomile, coriander, hops, marjoram, sage, elderflower, rosemary and dandelion.

Technical data

Alcohol is approximately 17.5%. Production is approximately 4,000 bottles, in 750 ml and 1,500 ml formats. After opening, keep at 5–10°C.

Tasting profile

The profile balances freshness and energy with spicy and balsamic notes. Amarone provides the structural base and brings together a progression from citrus and incense to bitter and balsamic nuances, followed by an exceptionally persistent finish.

Serving and pairing

Serve neat at 8–10°C. It may also be poured over ice with lemon or orange zest as an aperitif or after a meal. It can form the wine base of cocktails such as the Manhattan, Americano and Negroni.
