About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes grow in west-facing vineyards in Costigliole d'Asti, on medium-textured soils. Both old and young vines are cultivated.

Vinification

Harvest takes place from 1 to 15 October. Following gentle pressing, the must remains in contact with the skins for approximately 40 days. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation occur in wooden barrels and concrete tanks.

Ageing

The wine ages for 22 months in concrete tanks, followed by at least six months in bottle.

Tasting profile

Juicy, with an aromatic nose and bold, vibrant flavours.

Serving and pairing

Open or decant several hours before serving.
