About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in Kaltern at the Seehof vineyard, near the lake. The soils are sandy-clay over limestone gravel, and cool nights help retain acidity and enhance the aromatic profile.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully selected and undergo a short cold maceration. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine ages on the fine lees, which gives a softer, rounder texture while preserving the purity and brightness of the aromas.
Tasting profile
Bright and juicy. Rich aromas of ripe peach and nutmeg stay fresh and light. The palate has expressive fruit and noticeable acidity, which makes the wine food-friendly. The finish is long and intense.
