About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow at Leisenpuiten, an old walled vineyard in the heart of Kaltern. Cool mountain winds in the evening slow the ripening of the grapes and help preserve their acidity, giving vivid aromas and characteristic freshness. The site shapes the expressive fruit notes and the clean, focused structure.
Grapes
The wine is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand and carefully sorted before gentle pressing. The must is clarified by settling, then fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks to preserve pure aromas and freshness.
Ageing
The wine ages on the fine lees, which gives a slightly softer texture and more body without making it feel heavy.
Tasting profile
Bright and fresh. Notes of elderflower, gooseberry and ripe yellow peach meet crisp acidity and a clean mineral streak. The aroma is clear and distinctive, and the palate is lively, refreshing and aromatic, with a long finish.
