About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in Salice Salentino in southeastern Italy. The area encompasses the small town of Salice on the Salento peninsula and extends north and west.
Vinification
The wine is made by traditional red-wine vinification using modern cellar technology. Fermentation is deliberately stopped to retain residual sugar, while the temperature is kept as low as possible throughout production to preserve the bright fruit aromas.
