Vinification
Made by traditional red-wine methods, with maceration and fermentation using natural yeasts in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
Aged for 12 months in new French oak barriques, followed by approximately 6 months in bottle.

Refined and elegant in character, with an emphasis on varietal purity.
Label / history
The idea for a single-varietal Pinot Nero originated with winemaker Giacomo Tachis, who saw the grape’s potential for a distinctive expression in Sicily. Proceeds from the wine’s sale help to restore “Eterno,” a sculpture by Italian artist Giacomo Serpotta.
