About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

Pomino comes from a Tuscan area particularly suited to white grapes, with vineyards reaching 700 m above sea level.

Grapes

Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco.

Vinification

The 2025 grapes were handled carefully in both vineyard and cellar. Contact with oxygen was restricted as much as possible from reception through must processing. Gentle pressing cycles extracted the must. Alcoholic fermentation took place at controlled temperature, chiefly in stainless-steel tanks, while a small portion fermented in French-oak barriques.

Ageing

The wine is partially matured in wood and receives a further period of bottle ageing before release.

Technical data

Alcohol: 12.5%.

Tasting profile

Pomino Bianco 2025 is clear, bright straw yellow. Citrus and white flowers shape the bouquet. The palate is fresh, savoury and mineral, with floral echoes, lightly toasted and creamy nuances from wood maturation, and a citrus-led finish.

Vintage notes

Mild temperatures opened the 2025 growing season, and budbreak occurred during sunny, dry weather in the first ten days of April. Spring then followed a regular pattern before an unusually warm June. July and August were cooler than the average of recent years, helping preserve varietal aromas. The vines avoided water stress, and the bunches remained full and fresh through ripening.
