About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Bernardot vineyard lies in the commune of Treiso at 400 metres above sea level.
Vinification
Only two out of every ten harvests are selected for this wine. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel vats at a controlled temperature of 28–29 °C, followed immediately by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine ages for two years in 300-litre French barrels, using a combination of new barrels and barrels that are two years old.
Label / history
First released in 1997, it is one of Ceretto’s youngest wines.
