About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The selected fruit grows in Pressano at 300 m above sea level, in loose, sandy soil rich in sandstone.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at full ripeness and fermented in stainless steel tanks for 10 days.
Ageing
The wine ages for 12 months in old oak barrels, followed by at least six months in bottle.
Label / history
In the local dialect, “pletter” denotes sandstone, a sedimentary rock abundant in the area's soil.
