About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes came from vineyards in the hills of Abruzzo. The winery’s 35 ha of land are divided among three vineyards, where the climate is influenced by sea breezes and nearby mountains.
Vinification
The grapes were harvested in the last week of September 2010 and underwent low-temperature maceration.
Ageing
The wine was aged in temperature-controlled steel tanks.
Tasting profile
The aroma is inviting, and the palate is generous.
Label / history
Collefrisio is run by two young members of the third generation of the winemaking family. The winery follows an organic-winemaking philosophy.
