About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The estate farms organically and does not use chemical treatments. Pecorino is grown at the 11 ha Tenuta Giuliano Teatino, on the slopes of the Majella mountain range near the Venna River valley, where the soils are red clay. The wider estate benefits from sea breezes and the proximity of the mountains.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested fully ripe during the final ten days of September. Cold maceration is followed by fermentation under careful temperature control.
Ageing
The wine undergoes extended ageing in temperature-controlled steel tanks in the winery’s underground cellars, where naturally low temperatures and air-conditioned sections help regulate temperature and humidity.

Spicy and fruity in character, with a balanced, full-flavoured and energetic profile and an elegant style.
