About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the Valdobbiadene region. Contarini’s vineyards cover 12 hectares, in a setting where the Alps provide shelter from cold northern winds and warm breezes arrive from the Adriatic Sea. The local soils and climate help the grapes develop a broad range of flavours and aromas. The winery also works under long-term contracts with regional growers whose vineyards total 1,500 hectares.
