About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in Sinistra Piave in Veneto, at 40 m above sea level. The soils are mainly gravel. The Alps shelter the region from cold northerly winds, while the Adriatic Sea lies to the southeast, creating favourable conditions for viticulture.
Vinification
The grapes are usually harvested by hand in early September. They undergo several hours of cold maceration before gentle pressing. The must is settled at low temperature, then fermented in stainless-steel tanks with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature of approximately 18 °C. After fermentation, the wine is filtered.
Ageing
The wine ages in stainless-steel tanks, followed by several months of maturation in bottle.
