About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The vines grow in calcareous-clay soil.

Grapes

100% Barbera.

Vinification

Skin maceration lasts six to seven days at 27°C.

Ageing

Part of the wine is matured in French oak barrels.

Tasting profile

Deep ruby red with purple highlights. The fruit-driven nose is marked by plum and marasca cherry, accompanied by spicy nuances. The palate is full-bodied and fresh, with Barbera’s characteristic acidity balancing the generous fruit. A soft, delicate almond note shapes the finish.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 15–16°C. Pair with pasta, risotto, salami, cheese or poultry; its fresh, approachable style also suits luncheon service. The expected ageing window is 4–8 years. Available in 0.75 L bottles.
