About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

Nebbiolo is drawn from various vineyards across the municipality of La Morra. The soils are calcareous and sandy, and planting density is 4,800 vines per hectare.

Grapes

100% Nebbiolo.

Vinification

The must remains in contact with the skins for approximately three weeks at 27°C.

Ageing

The wine matures for 18 months in oak barrels.

Tasting profile

Ruby red in colour. The intense bouquet combines violet, raspberry and wild strawberry. The palate is fresh and moderately savoury, with delicate tannins. It is elegant and harmonious, finishing with persistence and finesse.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 16–17°C. The expected cellaring window is 10–15 years.
