About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the vineyards of the Montecchiesi estate, at 280 metres above sea level.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in the third week of September. Maceration and fermentation last 18 days at 20–28 °C. Malolactic fermentation begins once alcoholic fermentation is complete.
Ageing
The wine rests for 8 months in stainless steel tanks, then for at least 45 days in bottle in the winery's cellars.
