About this wine

Grapes

Selected Corvina Veronese and Rondinella grapes are used, with Molinara added in some years.

Vinification

After harvest, the grapes are dried for 3–4 months in a dry, well-ventilated room, concentrating their sugars, tannins and flavours. They are crushed between January and February, then remain in contact with the skins for around 40 days in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.

Ageing

The wine ages for 3 years in large Slavonian oak casks with capacities of 20–50 hL.

Tasting profile

Velvety and well structured.

Serving and pairing

Pairs with roasted meat and flavourful cheeses.
