Vineyard and terroir
Barbera grows in the Dezzani estate's vineyards, where days are sunny and nights cool but not overly cold. The vines are 50 years old.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected, then gently pressed. The wine undergoes extended maceration and ferments at 24 °C.
Ageing
The wine is aged for 18 months in oak barriques, followed by further time in bottle.
Tasting profile
Deep and rich, with varied aromas and flavours. The old vines give depth and balance.
