About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from Castello di Monsanto’s 25 hectares of vineyards in Chianti Colli Senesi, owned by the estate since 1962.
Grapes
The blend is predominantly Sangiovese, with a small proportion of Canaiolo.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks cooled with cold water.
Ageing
The wine matures for one year in Slavonian oak barrels.
