Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown organically in Piemonte using biodynamic methods.
Grapes
Ripe Barbera is blended with a small proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon, which adds structure.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, then macerated and fermented at a controlled temperature. No sulfur dioxide is added during production.
Tasting profile
Balanced and expressive, with a smooth, complex palate, a pleasantly sharp bitter note and well-defined tannins.
