About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the winery’s own vineyard in the Gavi region, at 300 metres above sea level. Its soils consist of clay and silty deposits rich in organic matter. The certified-organic and biodynamic vineyard is tended by Henry with the help of a heavy draft horse.
Vinification
The grapes are gently crushed, then fermented with natural yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. No sulfur dioxide is used. The wine is certified organic, biodynamic and vegan.
Label / history
The wine is named after Titouan, the first draft horse to work the vineyard. Its label shows a photograph of Titouan with Henry, the vineyard worker.
