About this wine
Grapes
The blend consists mainly of Negroamaro, with a small proportion of other red varieties.
Vinification
The grapes are picked in two stages: first at full ripeness, then at maximum ripeness and concentration. The batches are vinified separately before blending.
Ageing
After blending, the wine remains in vats until bottling.
Label / history
The name pays tribute to Gabriele Stringa, a founder and the creative mind behind the Ferro 13 project. His unconventional approach and his way of bringing past and future together inspired “Hipster,” referring to someone fashionable, on trend and in the know.
The creators pair each wine in the range with a song and a film that match its character. For this wine, they chose “Wake Up” by the Canadian band Arcade Fire and The Royal Tenenbaums.
