About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from three young vineyard parcels: Roncaglie, Faset and Ronchi. Fruit from the Ronchi cru was included in the blend for the first time in this vintage.
Vinification
The grapes are fully destemmed and fermented in open vessels, with no post-fermentation maceration.
Ageing
The wine matures for 24 months in oak barrels of 300 L that are more than 10 years old, followed by three months in bottle. The barrel maturation is longer than the legal minimum of 12 months.

Decant for several hours before serving. Alternatively, allow the wine a few more years to develop.
Label / history
“Recta Pete” means “shoot straight.” The name pays tribute to Dave’s roots and his original vision for making Barbaresco.
