Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo is grown in the Roncaglie vineyard, on southwest-facing slopes with iron-rich soils.
Vinification
The grapes are fully destemmed and fermented in open fermenters.
Ageing
The wine spends 24 months in old 300 L oak barrels more than 10 years of age, followed by three months in bottle.
Tasting profile
The wine has depth and firm, masculine tannins.
Vintage notes
The 2021 has more structure than the 2020, while retaining the same freshness.
